for a starter in violin lessons, what lessons/experiences/training should i expect the teacher to give me?
i’m 17 and yes, like it or not, i’m just learning the violin at this "old" age. 
but really, i’d rather learn it now than regret it when i’m too old to even hold a bow.
i’ll be taking 30 mins lessons once a week for 14 weeks and as a student with no background (except a little in school) in reading notes and playing any other instrument, what should i expect?
