How do you know when NOT to play open string on violin?
im starting to play violin again after 5 years and i cant remember some things. for example when do i know to play A with my first finger on the G string as opposed to playing an open A string? is there a difference between the two sounds cuz the letters all repeat on the scales and i dont when to use or not use them..thanks(:
