Jazz Violin – play like Miles Davis!
This is part of my research on jazz pedagogy. By transcribing and performing many great jazz solos I hope to demonstrate that string players can swing as hard as horn players. There are certainly many right and left hand challenges but with imagination and practice playing jazz on a string instrument is very possible.
