I have saved up a lot of money these years .. but now I can’t decide what to do with it .. I need violin lessons because I want to learn .. I also want a new cellphone since I don’t have and had one … advice please .. thanks!

I want to play the violin but I would rather try it before I buy one. Where can some one teach me the basics and let me try out one near Baytown or Channelview?

My 7 year old daughter received a violin for her birthday but I don’t have the money or time to drive her around for lessons. Would it work if she took lessons from a DVD? If so any recommendations?
