Would reteaching myself to play the violin be a good idea?
4 years ago, I started learning to play a violin with an actual teacher. I stopped a year later and want to start up again. I would get a teacher, but I don’t want to spend money on learning violin when I would only play for myself. I still know how to read music, and finger placement and all that, but I’m afraid I’ll break it if I try to just start on my own.
